MANAGEMENT MODULES
BMS is designed to address all aspects of managing a Brooke insurance franchise. BMS is organized into nine areas, or modules, that cover all the major categories of support that Brooke provides to franchisees. Each module is organized into tabs that correspond to specific tasks. Each tab has a Help Button that describes the processes associated with the task. Each module also has an Ask Button that permits the user to ask a specific question, which is routed to the person most qualified to respond.
Document Management
The foundation of BMS is document management. This important module complements the processing center's document management processes. Tabs in the document management module for performing specific document related tasks include:
- View Docs provides a list of documents available for viewing for the selected customer
- View Folders provides a list of folders where documents are stored for the selected customer
- Print Docs provides the capability to print a pre-selected group of documents
- Prep Docs permits the printing of a fax cover sheet with barcoding required to file document
- E-Minders is a log of all ticklers or reminders that have been e-mailed to the user
- Action E-Awares is a log of all action documents that have been e-mailed to the user
- E-Fax is a log of all faxes received on the regular fax line that have been e-mailed to the user
- User Activity is a log of all customer notes and other activity initiated by the user through BMS
- Memos is a library of correspondence forms that automatically insert customer information
Cash Management
The Cash Management module makes cash management easier and more accurate because it is fully integrated with the processing center's cash management processes. Tabs in the cash management module for performing specific cash management related tasks include:
- Receipt provides advice of customer payments, prints customer receipts and fax cover sheets
- Deposit provides advice of franchisee deposits, prints deposit slips and fax cover sheets
- Alt Payment is a log of receipts from credit cards and e-checks for funds not yet received
- Check permits the request of a check for payment to
customers or vendors
- Uncollected Accounts is a list of customer balances
with receipts less than agent billed premiums
- Escrowed Receipts is a list of customer credit balances
deferred, or escrowed, in the trust account
- Current Statement is a list of commissions, receipts and checks for the current statement period
- Prior Statement is a list of commissions, receipts and checks archived from prior statement periods
- Orphan Statement is a list of commissions for customers where ownership is not readily identifiable
Personal Management
The Personal Management module provides tools to assist with personal financial management and links to suppliers that provide volume discounts.
- Financial Plans are budgets and plans made in consultation with regional and national offices
- Commission Advance is a franchise request for commission advance
- Marketing Allowance is a franchise request for marketing allowance
- ADP Payroll is a link to payroll services provided to franchisees at no cost
- UPS Delivery is a link to package delivery services provided to franchisees at reduced cost
- Silver Plume is a link to insurance professional publications provided to franchisees at no cost
- NCMIC Finance is a link to a premium finance company
- Staples Supplies is a link to office supplies provided to
franchisees at reduced cost
Marketing Management 
The Marketing Management module is a comprehensive approach to marketing that includes access to the insurance company marketing team, advertising center and logo center.
- Company E-Aware is a log of all company marketing
documents e-mailed to the user
- Company Marketing Plan includes company lists, company training and other company plans
- Company Links provides links to insurance company Web sites
- Franchise Marketing Plan includes marketing objectives, situation analysis and marketing budget
- Campaign Write Up provides a list of ad templates to help develop a campaign for co-op approval
- Campaign Follow Up provides a list of write ups to help survey and summarize campaign results
- Lead E-Aware is a log of all leads that have been e-mailed to the user
- PR Write Up provides a list of templates to help develop news releases
- Logo Supplies provides a list of logo supplies and
order forms
- Logo Clothing provides a list of logo clothing and order forms
