Dane Devlin, Kyle Garst, Chad Maxwell and Bryan Whipple are members of Brooke Franchise Corporation’s board of directors. These four individuals have been employed by Brooke for a total of 44 years, so, as a group, they know Brooke Franchise Corporation better than anyone else. Their 44 years of insurance and franchising experience makes them well-qualified to manage Brooke’s franchising activities.

Dane Devlin, Director, Employed 17 Years
Dane Devlin is national operations manager for Brooke Franchise Corporation. Mr. Devlin was hired in 1986 as Brooke’s first employee. Mr. Devlin was an operations officer for Brooke from 1986 to 1996, then owned and operated a Brooke franchise from 1996 to 2000. Mr. Devlin was recruited in December 1999 to be Brooke’s Missouri state manager. In August 2000, Mr. Devlin assumed the position of Kansas City regional manager and was promoted to national operations manager in 2001. Mr. Devlin is a Certified Insurance Counselor.

Kyle Garst, Director, Employed 11 Years
Kyle Garst is national sales manager with responsibility for franchise recruitment in all regions. Mr. Garst started his career with Brooke in 1994 as a corporate sales representative. In January 1997, Mr. Garst left Brooke to join Koch Industries to work as a sales representative and profit center leader. Mr. Garst returned to Brooke in March 1999 as Oklahoma state manager and was promoted to regional manager for Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana in August 2000. Mr. Garst was selected as a national sales manager in 2001. As a member of the BXXX controlling ownership group, Mr. Garst also serves as a director of Brooke Franchise’s parent company.

Chad S. Maxwell, Director, Employed 11 Years
Chad Maxwell currently serves as national sales manager with responsibility for retail insurance agency acquisitions in all regions. Mr. Maxwell joined Brooke in December 1995 as a customer service agent and was later promoted to service center manager/ Kansas state manager. In 2000, Mr. Maxwell accepted the position of regional sales manager, in charge of acquisitions for Brooke’s Kansas City region. Mr. Maxwell served in this capacity until promoted to his current position.

Bryan C. Whipple, Director, Employed 5 Years
Bryan Whipple is national company relations manager with additional responsibilities for sales
of existing franchise locations. Mr. Whipple began his career with Brooke in October 2001 as the Kansas City regional manager. In August 2003, Mr. Whipple was promoted to national company relations manager. Prior to employment with Brooke, Mr. Whipple was employed by One-Beacon Insurance Company where he last served as manager of a multi-line property and casualty claims department. Mr. Whipple holds the Associate in Management designation from the IIACPCU and the Senior Claims Law Associate designation from the American Education Institute.
