Consultants

An important benefit of belonging to the Brooke franchise network is access to professionals for support. Brooke provides both national and local level support to meet our franchisee's different needs. Providing local assistance reflects Brooke's long held belief that face-to-face communication is more effective than telephone or e-mail communication. Brooke also believes that franchisees benefit from discussions with local managers who know the franchisees' local circumstances.

National Consultants

National CoordinatorsBrooke Franchise National Office
Although coordinators work in the national office, they supplement the local assistance regional offices provide to franchisees. Coordinators are responsible for working with professionals in the Overland Park national office and the specialists on the Phillipsburg campus so franchisees receive seamless assistance from the regional offices. Coordinators supplement regional office activities by assisting with insurance company issues, franchise statement questions, location development activities and routine telephone consultations.

Regulatory and Licensing Specialists
Regulatory and licensing compliance is often a complicated and onerous process that can be
intimidating. Brooke regulatory and licensing specialists are available for consultations with
franchisees and to assist with responses to regulatory inquiries.

E&O Claims Specialists
Professional liability claims prevention and resolution is important to franchisees. Brooke E&O specialists have investigated and resolved hundreds of franchisee E&O incidents. This experience gives them a valuable perspective on claims prevention.

Human Resource Specialists
Franchisees benefit from the perspective and experience of the human resources department that
serves Brooke’s 500-plus employees. Although Brooke’s human resources specialists do not assist
franchisees with specific employee issues, they will consult with them about general issues and respond to hypothetical questions.

Forms Library
Brooke’s national office professionals do not provide specific legal, tax or accounting advice to franchisees; however, a library of employment, non-competition covenants and other forms is shared with franchisees.

Local Consultants

Regional ManagersBrooke Franchise Regional Managers
Recognizing the importance of local assistance to franchisees,Brooke established a network of regional offices located in Kansas City, Denver, Dallas and Nashville. Regional offices are the first source of local assistance to franchisees. Regional managers supervise the activities of all area managers and maintain insurance company relationships for their regions.

Area Managers
Regional offices were originally charged with the direct responsibility of assisting all franchisees in their Region. However, as the number of franchise locations grew, it became increasingly difficult for regional office personnel to travel to all franchise locations for regular visits. To stay close to their franchisees, regional offices began establishing area offices and area managers assumed direct responsibility for assisting franchisees.

Service Center Managers
In some areas, Brooke has established service center locations that allow franchisees to reduce
expenses by sharing the services of customer service representatives and use of office space with
other franchisees. A local service center manager coordinates the services provided to franchisees in a
service center location.
